Day 29

I am sooooo fucking pissed! I have told this child that she can talk to me about ANYTHING! She got suspended for 3 fucking days for writing a note about her teacher, calling him a "fuck" and drew a picture of her stabbing him. I realize that this is pretty serious but the fact of the matter is that she has been really stressed lately with her responsibilities at school as well as a few other things. 

Apparently, her father told her that I signed a court document stating that he is not to be around her for 3 fucking years! I NEVER signed off on that, it was part of his damn plea agreement when we were BOTH charged for neglect. Honestly, if I had signed off on that, why in the hell would I have let them go see him when we were in Texas in July?? The court tried to pin that shit on me as well, but after informing them that I was currently, actively persuing reunification, they dropped it. I am so fucking angry that he would tell her such bullshit that I could explode! 

Poor kid, needs a break and hopefully this will give it to her as well as she will be dropping at least one of her school duties.

Got her new crib put together. Hopefully, she will grow to like it soon.

Orion helped me make dinner tonight as part of his homework. We made burgers and cheesy tots.

AHHH - baby attack! Baduhenna and I playing while we waited for Grandma Penny and Mary Lou to get here. Almost got my but kicked for not telling her the news of our engagement when it happened. ^_^

Day 23

I'm getting married! Dylan proposed on Saturday! I was trying to wait until we got a ring but I can't hold it in any longer. I am uber excited!

Day 22

Went shopping today and got some uber cute hair accessories for myself and the girls.

Day 21

Lilith, I ended up grounding her today. She went to a friend's house after school to help him with his homework, like she usually does. I told her that she needed to be home by 6:15pm. I tested her a little after 6pm and got no response. 6:30 rolled around and she was STILL not home. Needless to say, I was pissed. After several phone calls to her phone went unanswered, the other kids and I left to go pick her up. I don't think that I have EVER been this pissed at her before now!

She finally sat up on her own today!

Made breakfast burritos for dinner. Cooked lots of bacon or as it is known in our house, meat candy!

Took Isis to get a recorder for music class today. She chose the clear one. ^_^

Spent most of the day in bed, sick. So, I finished up Season 2 of Fringe. If you have not seen it and enjoyed The X-Files, I highly recommend it!

Finally updated my hair again. To get the blond/white, I bleached it twice as well as used a toner on it. After that, I dyed it turquoise. I am loving!

I am just in a pissy mood today. I don't feel good, the baby is sick, and I just generally want to turn into a hermit. I have to work on not isolating myself because if I do, bad things might happen.

As some of you may recall, we are having issues with our landlord not wanting to clean up the glass and various other sharp things that litter our entire back yard. We talked to the Landlord/Tenant Act office and since it is considered a safety violation, they are required to clean it up. They are currently saying that we accepted the property "as is" and refusing to fix it. Dylan went down there to talk to them again today and they are still adamantly refusing to do anything about the yard. I honestly hate it. One of the main reasons we wanted to get into a house was so that the kids would have a backyard to play in except these fuckers are being total fuckwads about it. IMHO, my left ass cheek is where they can place their lips!

Day 6

My baby sister turned 18 on September 3rd. Since I am 1200 miles away, I can't do much. I did, however, bake this yummy cake for her and we are going to eat it. ^_^

Day 5

So fucking pissed! We got bedbugs again and I have not been able to sleep in my bed for a while now. We have been sleeping in the living room for now and it sucks big hairy donkey balls. We got some spray that my girlfriend told me about and I took the bed apart today and cleaned it up and sprayed it down. It is a water bed and has a bunch of cylinders that hold the water. (They are the silver tubes on the right.) No water pump meant that I ended up manually emptying these damn things! Hopefully, after all that I have done, we will be able to sleep in our bed again.

Dylan picked up a weed eater today. Time to get control of these patches of grass!

Envisage

Today starts Year 3 of Envisage! I gotta admit, I loved this project. This year will be my second year participating and I am excited to get started. Over the past year, so much has changed in my life that it was nice to be able to document some of the things that have happened. I regained custody of my two oldest girls, met a wonderful guy and his son and had another baby! Literally, in a year, I went from it just being me in my house to having me plus five! We moved from an apartment into a house and introduced the newest members of the family to my folks and Granny. I have met some really awesome people, through this project and IRL. I just want to say thanks to all the ladies of Envisage who have allowed me a peak into their lives and have taken a peak into my own journey. This year is looking like it is going to shape up into a helluva year!
